Conrad Indianapolis

Children’s Museum of Indianapolis

With 481,000 square feet of space, the Children’s Museum of Indianapolis can host more than 300 guests. Located on 30 acres of land, it’s one of the largest children’s museum in the world. One of its venues is the Welcome Center, where you will find a 17-foot tall prop of Bumblebee.  

You also have the Dinosphere, where you will find the largest collection of juvenile fossils in the world. For an unforgettable experience, you can host your wedding at the Manor with its stained-glass windows, ornate lighting, and a breathtaking ballroom. The museum offers world-class hospitality thanks to their skilled events team and catering partner, Centerplate.

Fountain Square Theatre  

Address: 1111 Prospect St, Indianapolis, IN 46203

Another great Indianapolis wedding venue is Fountain Square Theatre. With columned arches, a large stage with a balcony overlooking the main theatre, and an expansive dance floor, the Fountain Square Theatre is a unique venue for your wedding. Opened in 1928 as a 1500 seat theatre, it has a 40-foot domed ceiling with twinkling stars. 

Having your name on the marquee sign always makes for great photos and you can even showcase your own movie posters on the wall. The theatre uses a spotlight to light up the dance which helps illuminate your first dances.

The theatre has enjoyed many years as a premier entertainment location. It has undergone several renovations, and today, it’s a starlit courtyard. Parking is free at the theatre, and you can access public parking lots in the nearby streets.

Indianapolis Wedding Video Sacred Heart Fountain Square Theatre

Locally owned and operated by Thomas Caterers, D’Amore offers 360-degree views of downtown Indianapolis. Located on the 48th floor of the SalesForce tower, D’Amore prides itself on being a family-oriented company. With a commitment to family members and clients, D’Amore has wall to wall and floor to ceiling windows.  

You can enjoy both daylight and night light views. The venue comprises of the South View, West View, and North View, each with a capacity of 100 to 650 for the ceremony, banquet, and reception.

Hilton Indianapolis

Centrally located in downtown Indianapolis, Hilton Indianapolis has 28,000 square feet of event space for hosting your wedding. One of the best venues at the hotel is the Victory Ballroom, with a capacity of up to 350 guests.  

The hotel has a team of wedding specialists ready to help you create the wedding of your dreams. It also has a team of chefs ready to prepare delectable dishes for you and your guests. Available packages include the Sapphire package, Emerald package, and Diamond package.  

Inclusions are on-site wedding coordinator, reception ballroom, bridal ready room, state suite for wedding night stay and parking. 

Indiana Roof Ballroom

Stunning Indianapolis wedding venue with stunning views and lots of space. Established in 1927, the Indiana Roof Ballroom has played host to dream weddings for more than five decades. Built for ballroom dancing, the venue is perfect for wedding receptions and dinners. It has a stage perfectly centered, creating the ideal location for your wedding party.  

As a historical landmark with unique architecture, the Indiana Roof Ballroom has a team of wedding specialists ready to enhance the décor at your wedding. They also have a product team with audio and specialty lighting equipment ready for the day.  

Indianapolis Art Center  

Address: 820 East 67th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana  

Artfully Indy with a classic design, the Indianapolis Art Center offers a unique and intimate backdrop for your wedding and reception. With hundreds of award-winning art exhibitions and the dazzling ArtsPark, your guests can explore the modern marvel.  

Since the venue is indoors, you don’t have to worry about the weather elements. Inclusions offered at the site include 150 black padded chairs, 15 round tables, ten banquet, and cocktail tablets. They also provide an Epson projector plus screen, audio system with microphone, and event security.  

Indianapolis Public Library  

Address: 40 East Saint Clair Street, Indianapolis, IN  

Thinking library wedding venues in Indianapolis? The historic yet modern and unique Indianapolis Public Library is the ideal choice. With a capacity of 500 guests, this landmark building located at the heart of Indianapolis is one of the most beautiful spaces. Available venues include the Atrium, the Simon Reading Room, and East Garden. The Atrium is a glass-encased room located in the Central Library complex. Laurel Hall

The Washington Room is beautiful with exposed brick and lots of natural light softened by sheers.  It provides the perfect setting for your cocktail hour.

The Mavris Arts and Events Center offers stylish no-fuss wedding venues perfect for couples who want to celebrate with family and friends. There are two main venues: Main Space and Speakeasy. The Main Space includes the first, second, and third floors alongside the outdoor spaces. Rented as a package, the Main Space has a capacity of 300 seated guests on one floor.  

The Speakeasy venue has 3,000 square feet of space with a separate entrance. It boasts of original wood beams, exposed bricks, and stamped concrete floors. Apart from the venues, Mavris also offers exclusive culinary services complete with an Executive Chef and catering team.

The NCAA Hall of Champions is another excellent location to hold your wedding. With two floors of fun plus interactive exhibits and more space for dinner/reception, it’s an affordable wedding venue. The Hall of Champions offers a spectacular view of the White River State Park. As such, it’s the perfect backdrop for your wedding photography.  

For your wedding reception, you have the Christine Grant Ballroom. Designed to hold 300+ guests, it’s spacious and the perfect place to have your first dance. In the conference center, there are extra rooms which can make your dinner to be memorable and unique.  

Primo Banquet and Conference Center

Regions Tower Rooftop  

Address: 211 N. Pennsylvania Street Indianapolis, IN  

As a 685,612 square foot modern building with its signature cobalt blue glass wall, not only does the Regions Tower Rooftop define the Indianapolis skyline. It’s also the perfect location to say “I do” to the love of your life.  

Owned by Nightingale Properties, the building is a 36-story tower with 992 space as a parking garage and surface lot. It has several amenities such as a fitness center, conference center, a full-service cafeteria, beauty salon, entertainment sundeck, and professional security 24/7.  

Located at the heart of Indianapolis and a few blocks from Mass Ave and Monument Circle, it’s a wedding venue you cannot ignore.  

Sanctuary on Penn  

Address: 701 N. Pennsylvania St. Indianapolis, IN  

If you want your wedding to be truly unique, then downtown Indianapolis is the best place to celebrate your union. The Sanctuary on Penn has a church built-in 1875. It features a traditional and ornate exterior with an ancient Roman interior.  

With a capacity of 100+, the church will paint your wedding ceremony in gorgeous light. At the Sanctuary on Penn, you will meet some of the finest wedding professionals. A few of the professionals include hairstylists, makeup artists, videographers, florists, DJs, and live musicians, among others.  

What you need to know is that for every service you use, the Sanctuary on Penn offers a discount on the venue. 

Skyline Club  

Address: One American Square, 36th Floor, Indianapolis, IN  

Plan and host your wedding on the 36th floor of the OneAmerica Tower and experience the best views of the city. The Skyline Club offers unparalleled views of the Monument and the city. This is the perfect canvas for your wedding photos.  

Apart from the city skyline, the private room at the Skyline Club also offers a perfect backdrop too. The club has an events team that can turn your wild ideas into your dream wedding. The location can host up to 150 guests. But you can customize the event to suit your wedding goals.  

Scottish Rite Cathedral

Address: 650 N Meridian St, Indianapolis, IN 46204

The Ballroom is 99 feet square and 45 feet high. It has a mezzanine or balcony 16-1/2 feet wide on all four sides of the second story. It is supported by 15 fluted oak columns 16-1/2 feet on center.

The dancing area, set off by the pillars, is 66 feet square. Except for the floor, the woodwork, pillars, and paneling are Carpathian white oak, and the architecture is that of the Elizabethan era.

The parquet floor is of quarter-sawed white oak in block parquetry design, divided in panels of 33 inches square with three-inch black walnut strips running in each direction. The floor is a floating wood floor set on thick deadening felt paper, which gives the floor a resiliency to pressure. The ceiling is of hand-painted acoustical tile so it blends in with the woodwork.

The lounges at the south end on either side of the ballroom and mezzanine, are alike in décor and furniture. Between the lounges are anterooms where art glass windows symbolically depict degrees of the Scottish Rite and York Rite on the floor level and the Scottish Rite on the mezzanine level.

The large chandelier above the ballroom floor is of gilded bronze with crystal beads and pendants. It weights about 2,500 pounds and contains nearly 200 light bulbs. It is suspended on a winch that permits it to be lowered for cleaning and replacing the bulbs. Complementary fixtures are hung on the pillars and under the mezzanine.

The Alexander  

Address: 333 South Delaware Street, Indianapolis, IN  

For a stylish and tasty dream wedding, head over to the Alexander, A Dolce Hotel. With a contemporary design and unparalleled hospitality, the Alexander is more than a hotel. It’s a piece of art that is only minutes from local events and top attractions, including the Indiana Convention Center.  

As an IACC Certified Hotel, the Alexander has 209 luxurious and art-focused guest rooms. Not only that. It has three outdoor event settings and 52 extended-stay suites. The event spaces have floor to ceiling windows plus intimate terraces and an art-centric backdrop.

The Columbia Club

The club has a 3,500 square feet ballroom on the 10th floor with a fantastic view of central Indianapolis. To ensure you and your guests have a pleasant experience, the club has the most exceptional wedding planning team. They will help you plan your special day, from layout and centerpieces to catering.  

You can choose one of the following settings at the club: The Grand Lobby, The Crystal Terrace, and the Stardust Foyer and Ballroom. Each location has a flavor of its own.

The Crane Bay Event Center  

Address: 551 West Merrill Street, Indianapolis, IN  

A cool place for a memorable wedding, the Crane Bay Event Center offers 18,000 square feet, divided into four sections. You have the High Bay, Center Bay, East Bay, and the Patio. The maximum seated capacity is 650 people, while the maximum standing capacity is 1,200 people.  

The venue has both indoor and outdoor fireplaces, shot chandelier, and appetizer wall. You also have an LED Lighted scene panel and columns as well as white leather couches. The Crane Bay still features cranes used back in the day to maneuver heavy machinery.

The Cyrus Place – Event Center 

Address: 237 N. East St. Indianapolis, IN  

Located in the Historic Core of downtown Indianapolis, Cyrus Place was originally a church built-in 1882. Today, it’s a stunningly beautiful location transformed into an exquisite wedding venue with the finest event coordinators.  

The venue has the Main hall ballroom and the Grand Hall. They both offer beautiful backdrops for weddings and other events. The two spaces can accommodate up to 200 guests, depending on how you customize your event.  

For setups, you can choose U-shape, standing reception, banquet style, or cabaret.  

The Freedom Barn  

Address: 11850 Brookville Rd, Indianapolis, IN  

A wedding venue with a difference, The Freedom Barn promotes social justice and hope. With 5,000 square feet of space, The Freedom Barn is a two-story brick barn designed for weddings and other events. Freedom Barn offers multiple wedding backdrops that include a gazebo, slab overlook, the woods, and a 10,000 square foot greenhouse.  

We enjoy working with The Freedom Barn and their staff is some of the nicest in the business.

The greenhouse is available for photo ops only. Run by a non-profit organization called The Hope Center Indy, a portion of venue fees benefit women and support job training.

The Grand Hall At Historic Union Station 

Address: 123 W Louisiana St., Indianapolis, Indiana  

Centrally located Indianapolis wedding venue and one of our favorites. With over 55,000 square feet of functional meeting rooms, the Crowne Plaza Union Station is a spectacular wedding venue. The hotel has 22 meeting rooms and ballrooms, including the Grand Hall, Illinois Street Ballroom, Lincoln Meeting Room, and Iron Horse Room. 

For a historic atmosphere, the Crowne Plaza Union Station offers a grandiose experience in one of its unique train car rooms.
